Back the mission.

Source2Sea is a genuine multi-year adventure charity challenge — but five rivers across Europe don't come cheap. Find out how you can help make it happen.

Financial support

Why we need backers

Every penny raised from the public goes directly to the MS Society — no exceptions. That means every expedition cost comes from somewhere else entirely.

Completing five source-to-sea river expeditions across Europe is a genuinely expensive undertaking. International travel to reach remote river sources, weeks of accommodation along the route, specialist multi-discipline kit, logistics of moving bulky equipment across borders — it all adds up fast. Financial supporters help cover those costs, so the fundraising stays clean.

International Travel

Flights and trains to reach the source of each river — from the Swiss Alps to the Spanish interior and beyond.

Accommodation

Weeks of nights along each route, often in remote valleys and rural locations far from major towns.

Support & Logistics

A support and logistics crew on the ground is essential for multi-week expeditions — covering crew travel, accommodation, vehicle costs, and resupply runs along the route.

Kit & Equipment

Kayaks, bikes, hiking gear, safety equipment, navigation tech, and specialist kit for each discipline.

Insurance

Comprehensive adventure sports and international travel cover for multi-week expeditions in remote terrain across multiple countries.

Content & Media

Camera equipment, storage, and the tools needed to document and share the journey as it unfolds.

In return, financial supporters get genuine, long-term visibility alongside a story worth telling — featured across the website, expedition content, and social channels for the duration of the project.
